There are some remarks in the gtk api at gtk.org about themes
in the section about rcfiles but this is not very elaborate. I
think the best way to get started is just download a simple theme,
like the 'gratis' theme, which contains a theme engine and accompanying
gtkrc files, and just start from that, and just ask on a list like this
when you run into a problem.. It would be nice though to have some good
documentation...
