Dear Ryan,
Every browser has the ability to exclude traffic that can't work with a
proxy or is faster without a proxy. An exmaple is localhost traffic.
Traffic on a local lan. If you check mozilla there is a field called no
proxy where you can enter these hosts.

Do you have the internal hosts setup in your /etc/hosts file at all? I think
that would be your solution. Do you know of any browser that does have an
exclusion feature pertaining to proxy traffic? Never heard of that one before.....
