[gnome-slackware]font in info-box

Hello,

which font does GNOME use in it's info boxes? 
(I mean these green ones)

In XFree86 I do not have any problems, but when I run GNOME in Xvnc
these fonts show up just as empty squares.

I already tried to fiddle with the fontpaths, but I couldn't get it
going.
