Hi guys
I have installed Gnome Linux (Red Hat) on one of the two computers at
home. However, because I did not use it for along time. I can not
remember the password, to get in. Is there a default administrator
password, that I could use. Or is reinstalling Redhat my only option?
There is no default administrator password. However, you can do the
following:
Reboot your computer, then you get one of the following:
lilo:
type "linux single"
Or you get a graphical list of kernels to choose from, type "e" and
append the word "single" to the line starting with "kernel".
Once you've done this your machine should boot into single-user mode.
