This is extremely annoying, considering the header files are now in a
different location, so the output of orbit-config --cflags is pretty
useful even for GNOME apps.
I'm sorry to not have looked into it yet... does anyone know if this is
an upstream issue or just an issue with the gnomehide packages?
You need to specify if you want to build a server or a client
orbit-config --cflags server
-I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/include/orbit-1.0
or
orbit-config --cflags client
-I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include -I/usr/include/orbit-1.0
This was always the case.

Aha, thanks. XMMS wasn't properly picking it up... so I just assumed... well, I'll have to fix XMMS then.
