Yeah, I think I'd be keen to see that happen. I just merged a bunch of
patches from bugzilla and didn't a release firstly to make sure printman
didn't become stagnant, and secondly to do a tarball release for JDS -
I'm definitely not planning to be the maintainer. We're currently
shipping the nautilus printers:/// view for JDS Linux, but didn't have
time to port it to Solaris in the short term - I don't think it's a
particularly good long term solution. Some Sun guys have started to look
at printing, so hopefully we can sort out any issues that arise after
the merge as you say.
