Gnome Photo Printer

Hello,

Since this program is heavily based upon libgnomeprint and
libgnomeprintui i thought i will announce it here.
It is just a small helper application to print someones pictures.
(I did a complete rewrite since my last mail.)

You can find a large (1280x1024 ca. 1MB) screenshot here:

http://wwwstud.informatik.uni-rostock.de/~sv041/printer/screenshot.png

showing the program and a preview made by it.
The program is located here:

http://wwwstud.informatik.uni-rostock.de/~sv041/printer/gpp-0.1.tgz

Just type make and run gpp.
To add pictures, just drag them from nautilus to the application.
(It will take care of the rightness of a dragged file, looking at
mime-types.)

ATTENTION:

Even Gnome Photo Printer is usable at this stage of development please
expect crashes, bugs, and all of that nasty things.

For example:

I still don't know how to get the information of writing to a
file="true"/"false".
(The setting is made in the gnome_print_printer_selector() gui.)
This seems to me as a bug in libgnomeprintui (using 2.4.0) since a dump
of the settings gives always a "false"

PLEASE:

Tell me what you think about it? Suggestions? Bugfixes?

THANKS, in advance
Sebastian Vorköper sv fogman de
