        What platforms Helix GNOME supports is irrelevant.

        Helix Code is committed to supporting GNOME to the hilt and
devoting considerable resources to key infastructure projects, one of
which is gnome-print.

        GNOME is committed to running on all Unix like systems ( and
creating a free software platform beyond that if possible ).
  
        Consequently Jody is geninely concerned that we are portable to
all Unix like things, it is an important sentiment.

        I hope the patches are getting fed back into the main line so that
these problems don't continue. I try to apply these sort of patches even
though often I can't understand what braindamage makes them neccesary :-)
