I've theses messages when I press hotsync button :
[4312598.748000] usb 3-1: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter now
attached to ttyUSB0

attached to ttyUSB1
And if I cancel on the palm the synchro, I've the messages
[4312610.198000] visor ttyUSB0: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter now
disconnected from ttyUSB0
[4312610.198000] visor ttyUSB1: Handspring Visor / Palm OS converter now
disconnected from ttyUSB1

no, /proc/bus/usb/ is always empty (syncing and not syncing)
