I have manually changed the gpilod config file and the netsync working great ! :D

Two options:
first, install the packages from
http://www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/mcdavey/downloads/
as these fix netsync with gnome-pilot.
the second option is to use your current version of
gnome-pilot and tinker. See:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=330330
for some suggestions. I haven't figured out exactly
when it's possible to get this method to work; it definitely
won't work in all cases, but can probably work with a locally
connected palm but not when your palm is on the 'internet'
side of a NAT router and your primary PC is on the private side.
