using gnome-Pilot 2.0.12 with Clie TJ37

Hi,

I'm trying hard to get my Sony Clie TJ37 working with gnome-pilot 2.0.12 on 
Gmome 2.10.0 (Ubuntu 5.04).
The Clie is attached at /dev/ttyUSB0 and works fine with pilot-xfer and 
other tools. gnome-pilot does nothing when I push the hotsync-button...

The target is to sync the data with Evolution 2.2.1.1.

Can somebody please give me a hint?
