Palm T3 problem

I'm using debian unstable, and in the last 3 weeks, gnome pilot stop to
work.
When I try to sync my palm (tungsten T3) gpilotd sometimes said me that
it can't setup the speed and the timeout is reached.
This is the best result, because sometimes I try to sync my pilot and
gpilotd doesn't see nothing on /dev/pilot.

I tried to sync whit other software like multisync or kpilot, but result
is more or less the same.

Some suggest.
