Hi,
I have a Palm Zire 71 and a laptop with Gentoo Linux. I use
gnome-pilot_2.0.10 and Evolution 1.4.5. The sync with jpilot or
pilot-link works fine, but when I try to configure the pilot by running
gpilotd-control-applet, and I go through the steps:
-> device: /dev/pilot (link to /dev/usb/tts/1)
-> Connect type: USB
-> Speed: 9200
-> I have been used this Palm with sync software before.
-> I click forward after this screen, gpilotd crashes within seconds
whether or not I have pressed the hotsync button or not.
I have seen this same problem in gentoo forums:
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=95746&highlight=gpilot
any idea?
