Simple Conduit Makefile?

I have used Jam more often then I use make and automake, and I am not that good at making jamfiles or makefiles.
I checked out the gnome-pilot and the gnome-pilot-conduits from gnome cvs. I am able to build both of those packages. So if I can't figure out how to make my own makefile, I can just cannibalize the test conduit's.
Can anyone point me to a simple makefile for a gnome pilot conduit?
