A question about network sync with gnome-pilot

Hello,

First of all, correct me if I misunderstood the idea of network sync:
I connect with my PDA through modem to a PC (PPP connection for
example), then I can sync by telling hotsync to connect to a specific
IP.

I have Visor Prism, pilot-link 0.11.5 and gnome-pilot 2.0.10.

Now my problem is this:
I have configured hotplug to start a ppp connection (starts fine) when I
network-hotsync or connect to a network. When I try to hotsync through a
network the output of gpilotd shows: "gpilotd-Message: Woke on Cradle"
that's all, then my visor hotsync times-out and it disconnects

Primary PC Setup:

USB syncs works fine.
I really want to use it this way, because there's no simple way to use
ppp and usb syncs easily.
