compile-error for ver. 0.1.71 on Suse 8.1

Hi List, 

after I solved every fu**ing missing .la file by installing all those
libs one would not expect to need for this, I end up with the below
error and here I'll give it up for today. Can anyone give me a hint
what's wrong down there plz.
