syncing my palm m500

Hi all.

I recently got my hands on a Palm m500 with the usb cradle. I'v been
trying for almost two days to get it to sync with Evolution. I have
compiled the latest CVS version of pilot-link and gotten coldsync to
dump all the databases. I now have the following questions:

Does the CVS version of gnome-pilot work with the usb-m500? 
Where can I find the CVS version?
