Visor + Gnome-Pilot

Hi,

I`m having troubles getting my USB Visor to talk with GnomePilot.
I can make backups using pilot-xfer so the device is working.
However during the Pilot identification  the program fail to recognise the
Visor.

I`m using
[root inspon gnome-pilot-0.1.54]# rpm -qa | grep gnome-pilot
gnome-pilot-devel-0.1.55-0_helix_1
gnome-pilot-0.1.55-0_helix_1


Using google I found that you could recompile gnome-pilot with
 ./configure --enable-usb-visor
however this compilation fails on my machine with the following error

../gpilotd/.libs/libgpilotd.so: undefined reference to `SELF'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [pilot_applet] Error 1

both with the gnome-pilot-0.1.55  and gnome-pilot-0.1.54 sources.

Anybod got a clue ?
