Calendar, attaching notes to appointments

Syncing my palm pilot with my Gnome desktop software currently works
really well.  Thanks to everyone who made this happen.

However, the Gnome Calendar doesn't allow one to attach notes to
appointments.  The notes that I attach using my pilot are just
dropped on the floor when I sync.  Disturbing.

Can anyone tell me if this is fixed in Gnome 1.4?
