Problems with a palm500



Dear List,

I try to install my palm500 with the USB port. So I use the gnome-link
to install ist but it do not work. 
I read the Mailinglist carefully but do not find the right answer. When
I start the hotsync then I get the follwoing message out of
/var/log/messages

So I think the device where found but the Config Tool "Gnome-link" hang. 
I use the /dev/ttyUSB1 port and have Suse 7.3 with ximian1.4 for 7.2 but
have compile all packages for pilot for 7.3
Can anybody tell me what I have to change.
If have to create a new device like /dev/pilot with mknod .... and use a
sym link.
