The memo-file conduit is the only real memodb conduit right now. the
memo conduit was supposed to be a conduit for a gnome program called
Think. I'm not sure what happened to either Think or the memo conduit,
but I think both are dead.

So the deal is, that if you can find a program that's good for handling
memo's (memo_file sync's into a directory structure and textfile/memo) and
want to write a conduit, feel free to hack on the memo component.
