gpilotd-client - status ?

Hi,

i've been trying to use gpilotd-client and it has been ... hum ...
depressing:)
Not only it generates
gpilotd-WARNING **: lib-gpilotd:336: Caught exception: IDL:GNOME/Pilot/UnknownPilot:1.0
everytime (corbaness not coded in a conduit ?)
but also hangs forever in some libIIOP function as far as i can tell.

Is gpilotd-client going to undergo a rewrite ? Is the conduit (re)design in
the way ? Do i need to actually get a clue about ORBit to fix it ? :)

cheers
