Have you tried it?  I spend a while this morning deleting all sorts of
stuff from the pilot, marking it all as "Archive on PC".  I never saw
anything appear in the Archived directory.  I did see a few things
stay in the normal directory, although they were gone from the pilot.

And I'd still like to know what gnomecard and gnome-cal do with them.
