merging the branches ?

Oy...

I've modified the email conduit for the new framework, implemented the
pre/post sync calls, and except for some changes to pre_sync, I think it's
more or less complete.

Also, I've started a rewrite of memo-conduit that syncs with Think (of
course using the new framework). Both conduits are committed. 

So I think we should merge the branches, any comments/objections/jokes ?
