I can not figure this out

I am trying to get gnome-pilot to compile on a FreeBSD 3.3-STABLE
machine. I have pilot-link-0.9.3. Here is the output of the configure
script:

checking for for existance of /usr/local/pilot/lib/libpisock.so... yes
checking for glib-config... /usr/local/bin/glib-config
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.0... yes
checking for pi_accept in -lpisock... no
configure: error: Unable to find libpisock. Try ftp://ryeham.ee.ryerson.ca/pub/PalmOS/.

Here is how I am invoking the configure:

./configure --with-gnome-includes=/usr/local --with-gnome-libs=/usr/local --with-gnome=/usr/X11R6/bin --disable-nls --with-catgets --with-pisock=/usr/local/pilot

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
