I think this is very important. We should have binary packages at least
for: Redhat, Mandrake, Debian and Suse. I volunteer to build the SuSE
packages, but I could definitely need some help by others. In general our
goal should be to provide binary packages together with the sources at the
same day.

Are there any up-to-date spec files we can use? The ones in the
plain-gnome module are pretty old and there are no *.spec.in files,
which would be much more usefull.
