Heh, say "X is slow and a big memory eater" around Jim Gettys, and
you'll soon be corrected.  X runs really well on the HP (ne Compaq) iPaq
which has a 200MHz processor and very little RAM.

The aims and goals in the mail seemed to be aimed towards 'mom and dad'
users, instead of enterprise to me.  These two targets have widely
different requirements and, as far as I know, gnome-os is targetting the
enterprise market.
