Hi guys, thanks for your great work. Thanks to you, network administration on my laptop (ubuntu) is a real pleasure.
So, I'd like to propose a new feature that I'm (possibly) willing to code up a patch for, with your approval:
Problem: network-admin doesn't store previously entered WEP keys. This
makes repeatedly going between the same two networks a pain, because
each time I switch networks, I have to reopen network-admin and reenter
the key for the current network. Or perhaps there is a better way, and
I just haven't seen it :)
Proposed solution: Introduce storage of previously entered WEP keys (associated with the essid of the network).
Is this something that should be a part of gnome-network, or should this be implemented elsewhere?
Dan
