Hola!

Yup, with hp as maintainer emeritus.

Very HIGgy, cool ;)

Personally, I really think having a separate app for starting remote
shells is better, because, in a very silly line of argument, I don't
think I'd ever look in gnome-terminal menus for that, and second because
that'd force people to open a terminal first in order to start a remote
shell which is rather unnatural.
This should/could be run by desktop-devel-list, I guess.
[Btw, I've seen a profiles patch for g-r-s, and that just cannot go in
gnome-terminal, because (we already have profiles there :) and) because
that would complicate an already too complex thing. That functionality
is expected by users, though.]
One thing I can think of is shipping a profile with gnome-terminal for
remote shells (so that "- Remote Shell" or whatever gets appended to the
end of window titles, for example)
[Btw, looking at gnome-remote-shell.c, I see it is not using the bonobo
factory, which would speed up a little the creation of the terminal
since it would avoid running a gnome-terminal instance.]
