using mouse button to switch window or desktop

Hi,

I have an USB mouse with 5 buttons.
In fine, I have two buttons not used.
I would like to use _one_ to switch desktop, and _one_ to switch window.
I use GNOME 2.10, on Fedora Core 4 (and dont want to recomile gnome from
tarball :-))
I for the moment use the built-in touch combination:

- Alt-TAB to switch window
- Ctrl-Alt-{Left|Up|...}Arrow to switch desktop.

Using the desktop shortcuts wizard does not consider the mouse buttons.
Should I use XBindKeys, but then, how?
