Metacity first window placing

Hi together,

does anybody know if there is a possibility to prevent metacity to open 
the first window on a desktop centered. For me this behavior is very 
annoying, because there will more windows follow :-)

I want metacity to place the first window in the left upper corner (as 
any other WM).

Any suggestions?
