Dunno which distro you use, under debian those are generated by a
package called libesd0.
dpkg -l libesd0
||/ Name Version Description
+++-===============-===============-==============================================
ii libesd0 0.2.29-1 Enlightened Sound Daemon - Shared
libraries
ldconfig -p | grep libesd.so
libesd.so.0 (libc6) => /usr/lib/libesd.so.0
