icon problems with upgrade to 2.5.cvs

I found that /usr/share/icons/gnome was replaced by
/usr/share/icons/hicolor, but i'm having some other issues too. the show
desktop button icon is missing, and all of my folders in nautilus are
basic text file images. I'm not sure if it is related, but the Emblems
property tab is also empty, should it be?
