Re: discontiguous multihead and gnome

If I had two PC's for instance, each with a separate video card and
monitor, with a separate X server running on each one. the two
machines would be on the same network so that you could run X apps
remotely from one machine to the other. My question is: Can gnome
manage these two separate heads as one "multi-head" desktop similar to
non-xinerama multihead on a single PC. I realize I can start a gnome
session on the local machine and then one on the starte one remotely
and display it on the remote machine (using x2x or somehting like that
to move between them), but would the resulting setup be remembered or
would the remote session simply be a duplicate of the local session. I
hope that makes sense.
