There are some experimental binaries at
ftp://people.redhat.com/hp/gnomehide/ that may or may not help.

Another thing to try is to get the Nautilus with debug symbols
at http://people.redhat.com/hp/test-packages, install that, 
and then try running Nautilus in gdb. Just do "gdb nautilus" and 
type "backtrace" after the crash etc.

You probably want to be sure Nautilus isn't in your session before
fooling with gdb; open session-properties select Nautilus and click
Remove.
