Kernel bug?

I have some very strange behavior on my Debian/Gnome box:
When I use the 2.5.2 kernel, nautilus, which is managing my
desktop, crashes and restarts very often. When I roll my
kernel back to 2.5.2-pre10 it seems to work again. Should
I report this to someone? If so, who? The Gnome people
or the kernel people?
