Shutdown command

RH 72 with Ximian GNOME - all current updates

Under the Ximian menu panel (top of the screen) the is the System menu and
under that there is Log Out.  I was wondering what command this invokes.  I
want to create a launcher for my desktop (with a different icon) and all I
can do is drag this to the desktop keeping the current icon (which, if you
must know is hard to see with my way cool wallpaper).  I could us gshutdown,
but I don't like the window (as well as the options) that gets displayed.
Anyone know what the command is?
