problem compiling gnome control center on solaris

Hi All,
i have installed all base requirements and now i want compile
control-center-1.2.2.

i'm using solaris 2.5.1 and i want to install gnome. I am getting errors
similar to the following.

First i get following error with configure:

checking for imlib-config... /soft/bin/imlib-config
checking for IMLIB - version >= 1.8.2... no
*** Could not run IMLIB test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log
for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means IMLIB was incorrectly
installed
*** or that you have moved IMLIB since it was installed. In the latter
case, you
*** may want to edit the imlib-config script: /soft/bin/imlib-config
ERROR: Needs a system with Imlib 1.8.2 or higher

configure: error: Fatal Error: no Imlib detected.



if i give the option --disable-imlibtest configure runs through. but if
anybody have an idea why this test doesn't work, please tell me. i have
compiled imlib-1.9.8.1 on my system.

then i do a gmake, now following error occurs:
