What happens when you run grdb-capplet?  Do you have that 
file in /usr/bin?  That is the capplet responsible for what you want.

You just don't have a "Legacy Applications" option in gnomecc 
because you are using the Gnome distro for RH7.2 now instead 
of RH7.1(both Ximian Gnome 1.4)?  That doesn't seem right.  
Maybe something in gnomecc is broken or malconfigured or 
something. I think it is a capplet issue or something.  I can't find
where it keeps a list of its default capplets, so I am pretty much 
just wasting bandwidth.

In that case, it has indeed vanished!  Does anybody know which
configuration file (presumably in ~/.gnome) to modify in order to enable
this setting?
