I thought to give anjuta-0.1.5 a try. ./configure runs
without problems. ./make fails with the following

c++  -g -O2  -o anjuta  aneditor.o anjuta_cbs.o [...]
-L/usr/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -rdynamic -lgnomeui -lart_lgpl
-lgdk_imlib -lSM -lICE -lgtk -lgdk -lgmodule -lXi -lXext -lX11
-lgnome -lgnomesupport -lesd -laudiofile -lm [...]
/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lesd
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [anjuta] Error 1

I can perfectly live without anjuta. What really bothers me
is that I don't understand why the linker cannot find Any hints?

Best regards - Juergen (still wondering why an IDE needs sound.)
