Problem starting KDE Games in ximian: path problem?

When I attempt to launch certain KDE apps, especially the games, nothing
happens.  If I launch the app from the command line, it works.  This
makes me believe that ximian is looking at the wrong path for KDE games.
Where can I go to change/fix this sort of thing?
