Hello 

I sent you this message there 2 days, I didn't get any answer. Am I the only 
person who has this problem ?

I use gnome 1.4 with enlightenment and mandrake 8.0. 
I cannot unable gnome background: it seems to work in gnome control center, 
but when I log in under gnome, the enlightenment backgrounds and the drag bar 
appear, but they are immediately covered by gnome background.
So for the moment, I log in under enlightenment and I start gnome panel by 
"panel $".
