There is a GUI for Producer 8.5 on Windows.  They haven't taken that
away.  But they found most Linux users don't want or need a GUI.

this is what I got from real folks..i asked why  all of a sudden no GUI
for realproducer..

well linux users is this true? :)LOL

granted there is as certain geekage percentage myself sometimes included
that "enjoys" the command line.....but......for something that tends to
be somewhat complicated a gui is certainly a nice alternative.......how
many use this product i wonder.....
