Panel Problems..

Hey,

I am using Suse 7.1 and uptdated my gnome desktop to gnome 1.4 using the 
Suse rpms. Now I got problems with the panel. When I try to put an 
application into it (a starter) it happens sometimes that after 
restarting gnome the application I put into the panel disappeared - not 
with all applications - some applications are still there and can be 
started from the panel but some dissappeared. Can anyone help me?
