slackware+gnome+enlightenment problem!

Hiya, im pretty much a newbie at using X. I have
installed XFree86 4.0.1 on slackware without any
previus X. Then i installed gnome and enlightenment.
What file should i edit to make gnome start and use
enlightenment? Adding enlightenment in gnomes Control
Center only start enlightment, but when i restart X i
have to start it again.
