Hey there!
I am in the process of trying to install GNOME 1.4 that I downloaded
from the Sun site, onto my laptop. I've got Solaris x86 build 4/01, with
the latest (as of yesterday) patch cluster, the XiG PCMCIA hack, and the
Solaris driver port allowing me to run the XFree86 video driver.
When I run install, it doesn't succeed, and returns the following error:
Starting the install Wizard, please wait.

I have poked around on the GNOME site looking for FAQs, to no avail.
Could someone point me to a FAQ that might help me, or even better,
point out the error of my ways, correction of which would allow a
successful installation? TIA.
-Ian Duff.
