no window resize with Nautilus/Sawfish/Gnome/RH 7.2

Over the weekend I upgraded a box running RH 7.0 to RH 7.2. I selected
to migrate the Gnome stuff to Nautilus. The wndow manager is Sawfish
v0.38.
Now I cannot resize windows. Nor can any other user. Has anyone else
experienced this? Any ideas for a workaround. I have switched to KDE
temporarily but this is mighty annoying.
