Earl Johnson founded the Accessibility Program in 1991. Since
then, Johnson has seen the profound impact Sun's technologies
have had on improving the accessibility of information
technology. The Accessiblity Team has worked hard to ensure
that Sun's products and technologies, such as the Java
programming language, Jini network technology, and GNOME, are
designed and developed from the ground up with accessibility
built in.
