it's not related to xmms, but also on the desktop notifications sounds. They 
play way too fast. The xmms FAQ suggests to use either ESD or OSS in
that case, but using ESD, i have that problem, i xmms, in Gnome desktop... :(

I might still abuse that list if nobody else has an idea.

Anybody knows what package installed esd on my system, or know the rpm
magic to find out?
