It won't. :-(
For Red Hat 7.0 users, the officially blessed upgrade package is broken
in other respects (unless you _like_ random crashes, of course). Until
they release yet another upgrade, you probably want to go with the
non-official release that's available at:
ftp://ftp.linux.org.uk/pub/linux/alan/GNORPM/
This includes the necessary patches to make things work nicely with
rpm 4.0.
